Pre-Kindergarten Section
From the 2023-2024 school year we inaugurated the Pre-Kindergarten. It is aimed at children aged 2-3 years and we have dedicated it to the "4G", four volunteers who have been serving in our school for 40 years and whose name begins with the letter "G": Graziella, Giovanna, Giacomo and Giuliano.
What is the Pre-Kindergarten?
It is a section that, acts as a buffer between nursey and nursey school and allows students to easily transition. In fact, during the day there are moments of interaction with the older classmates from the nursery school and with their teachers.
The ratio between teachers/educators and children is 1 a 10 and the fee is lower than in the nursery, whilst continuing to provide the same service.
In the Pre-Kindergarten class, also known as "Spring section", the day passes with activities designed specifically for the 2-3 year age group, respecting everyone's time. It ranges from psychomotricity and motor games, carried out by an external professional, to cooking and painting workshops, up to the reading aloud project in collaboration with the Cambiano Civic Library. And again: botanical and gardening activities, the "Crescendo in Sol" musical workshop, also conducted by an external professional, and the English workshop, carried out by a native speaking teacher, with two meetings per week of approximately 30 minutes each. This duration has been shown to be most effective for 2-3 year olds to maximize learning potential.
